These two points should help:

1. Correct filling amount: Fill the bottle up to the point where the curve of the bottle shoulder begins. If you have trouble with water leakage, fill a little less.
2. Press the carboniser button less firmly: Especially towards the end of the carbonation process, when the pressure relief is about to activate.
