The bottle overflows through the lidUpdated 4 months ago

It may be that the sealing ring in the lid is not seated optimally. Therefore, remove the sealing ring (video instructions here) and reinsert it according to the picture below. For the optimal sparkling result, the nub of the sealing ring should be positioned at the threaded end of the lid (see orange markings in the picture below).


Additionally, the following points should help:

  1. Correct filling amount: Fill the bottle up to the point where the curve of the bottle shoulder begins. If you have trouble with water leakage, fill a little less.
  2. Tighten the cap properly: Screw the cap on tightly until it is cannot be screwed further.
  3. Press the carboniser button less firmly: Especially towards the end of the carbonation process, when the pressure relief is about to activate.
