My bottle fell on the ground - can I continue to use it?Updated 5 months ago

It’s happens quickly for the bottle to fall accidentally. However, it’s very important to check the condition of the carboniser and the bottle cap after every impact. In this article, we provide guidance on assessing whether the resulting damage allows further use of the bottle.

The following images show damage to the carboniser that is not problematic. The dents and wear are superficial, and the color is mostly still intact.

Below is an example of damage where the carboniser must not be used further. The impact was strong enough to remove the color, and the carboniser is deformed at the top near the thread (see red arrow).

The following 2 pictures show lids with fall damage that are not a problem:

The subsequent fall damage to the lid is deeper and larger. The lid may not be used any further.
