1. Fill the bottle up to the recommended fill level (where the shoulder of the bottle starts to curve - better a little less than too much) and screw the cap on tightly until it is fully seated.

2. Hold the bottle upright and press the carboniser button firmly so you can hear the CO2 flowing into the bottle. Keep the button pressed until you hear the pressure release, which sounds like a light "blow-off" coming from the bottle lid. It takes 3-10 seconds for the pressure release to activate, depending on how firmly you press the carboniser button.

3. Shake the bottle vigorously to bind more carbon dioxide.

4. Carefully open the cap. If you want stronger sparkling water, repeat steps 2 and 3.
