Generally yes, although when carbonating beverages other than water foam is formed. The strength of the foam formation varies depending on the beverage. After each use of the spark bottle with beverages other than water, it must be cleaned thoroughly, including removing and cleaning the sealing elements on the carboniser and the lid. Beverages with pieces/pulp or thick beverages must not be carbonated with the bottleplus system.
